Married!

Yesss.  I am officially married!!!  The wedding was AMAZING and went by wayyyyy too fast!  So now that I FINALLY have some time to do things outside of wedding-crazy-mania I have time to committ to my new blogging endeavor.  All of my peeps have been telling me how great all of my details were so I thought I would share them with all of you sooo check back soon if your interested.... but here's a teaser shot of me and my husband....taken by my AMAZING photog, Keira Lemonis of Keira Lemonis Photography (http://www.keiralemonisphotography.blogspot.com/).  Love love love her. 



just a little 2 month hiatus.

ok so wow.  It's been about 2 months since my last post.  That is just awful, I know.  I guess I will blame it on the holidays and the WEDDING!  yess, I got married this past weekend!

ANYway, now that all of that is officially over I am fully committed to bringing you all things one house. two dogs. one love.

my semi-big purchase.

I made a purchase today that I hope will help in producing quality pictures for this new and exciting blog of mine as well as life pictures in general to share and get those creative juices flowing...the Canon SX130 IS.  It's not the most expensive megazoom out there but after hours of watching/reading reviews on cnet.com it seemed to be a great camera for newbie photogs who want something more than just a compact point and shoot, and at a great price to boot.  The camera along with all the accessories (rechargeable batteries, case, 8GB SDcard, & gorilla pod) came to about $265 (with shipping & taxes)!  I thought that was a great price!  amazon.com, i love you!

...annnd I bought the future hubby "Call of Duty: Black Ops" to deter him from the fact that I'm buying this semi-big ticket item 2.5 months from the wedding...think it will work?  haha, guess we'll find out soon enough :)

soo from my future hubby comment hopefully you can deduce that yes, I'm getting married.  January.  EEEK!  It's a crazy time with wedding planning and the holidays coming up but we're really excited and I'm doing alot of DIY details that I hope to share with all of you so stayy tuned :)

...on top of the wedding coming up, we also bought a house last year.  We absolutely love it and have many ideas for fixing it up with creative DIY projects that we hope to accomplish ourselves,

...annnnd last but not least, we have two wonderful doggies who we love very much and who pretty much rule the house, no doubt about that :)

...so with all that said,  I'm hoping this bloggin' thing will be a good way for me to organize the millions of thoughts, inspirations and ideas I have floating around in this not-enough-hours-in-a-day-life that I'm living right now and also document the finished products to share with all of you :) hopefully I can provide you with some inspiration of your own!!!

so ya know what?...I said to myself, "I'm gonna do it gosh darn it!!!!" well, here it goes...
